The Living Kitchen Table: Nairobi Hub Conveningbrought together women of faith, faith-based and community organisations, and climate practitioners in Nairobi to explore how faith can move communities from reflection to practical climate action. Held on 22 September 2026 at Rosa Mystica, the gathering created a warm, story-led space where participants shared lived experiences of climate change, reflected on care for creation, and discussed how women of faith can collaborate more intentionally in their communities.

The convening identified six priority areas for the Nairobi Hub: access to information, water scarcity, self-governance, policy influence, food security and sovereignty, and health. Participants also agreed on practical next steps, including forming a WhatsApp group, carrying climate advocacy into their own organisations and congregations and planning a community clean-up around Mazingira Day. The gathering marked an important first step in rooting WFCN’s local hub model in Nairobi.
