About WFCN

The Women, Faith, & Climate Network (WFCN) is a groundbreaking initiative uniting woman of diverse faiths and spiritualities to accelerate climate solutions within their local communities. Aspiring to link over 73 million people globally, the network leans on the idea of radically collaborating with Muslim, Hindu, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh, Bahai, and other spiritual traditions and Indigenous movements to enhance their programming and resourcing across the Climate & Nature, Gender, and Equity nexus'. 

WFCN’s Mission is go further, faster to reach climate goals by supporting and scaling up women of faith led climate action in their local communities.

Stories of Change   

Meisie Lerutla is mobilizing thousands of women across Southern Africa to turn faith into action for the Earth. Through the Mothers’ Union, she is nurturing Eco Champions who are restoring land, strengthening livelihoods, and reimagining churches as centers of climate leadership.

Member-Led Climate Action

Our member-led climate action reflects the everyday leadership of women of faith working across communities, traditions, and regions to care for our common home. From grassroots initiatives in sustainable agriculture and renewable energy to Eco Champion programmes and interfaith mobilization, members are turning faith into practical climate solutions.
